Progress toward development on the VA Campus in Knoxville continues to move along. The Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance, the group with negotiation rights toward the lease currently, recently sent in their development plan to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. James Washington, with the Veterans’ Alliance, says that the development on the campus will be driven by what the local community wants and strives for. The Veterans’ Alliance will soon enter a negotiation phase with the VA, and the lease for the campus is expected to be signed sometime in December.
