The Marion County United Way Fall Campaign is underway. Money raised by the United Way will be given to local agencies that improve the quality of life of the people of Marion County. Some organizations that are supported through the Fall Campaign include the Boy and Girl Scouts, the Crisis Intervention Center, and the Marion County Historical Society. Campaign Chair Ray Jenkins says that many companies offer matching programs if their employees give to the United Way through them, or you can donate directly to the United Way. This year’s Campaign Goal is $115,000.
