A home burned down Sunday night in North West rural Marion County at about 10:30. The house at 523 Adkins Street went ablaze late Sunday night. Prairie City Fire Chief Ryan Vanderkamp told KNIA/KRLS that the cause of the fire is unknown. The home was estimated to be a total loss. The deed to the home is held by Callen Scovel of Prairie City.
