After a two-year absence, Chris Pierson returns to the Central College men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach.

Pierson will serve as the head junior varsity coach and will assist the varsity. He held the same position from 2007-09, helping the Dutch varsity compile a 27-23 record and advance to two Iowa Conference tournaments.

An honors graduate from William Penn University, Pierson received NAIA all-academic honors as a golfer for the Statesmen. He spent a year as co-head coach of the William Penn men’s junior varsity basketball team.
