The trial for a Bussey man is underway in Marion County District Court. Gregory Schyler Griffith is charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine. In December of last year, Griffith was in a vehicle that was pulled over west of Melcher-Dallas. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies found many items that are used to manufacture meth. Since that time, at least three other people that were in the vehicle have pled guilty to a lesser charge. If he is found guilty, Griffith would face up to 25 years in prison on the conspiracy, plus 5 additional years each on two precursor charges.
