Changes will be plenty when next volleyball season rolls around. For the first time the state will go to a five class volleyball system. That means several of our area schools may move up or down depending on the enrollment criteria. Knoxville Coach Eric Fee says his team more than likely will be moved up to 4A which will give his team more of a challenge in the postseason. However, Fee adds that may actually prepare his team for the 4A postseason because the Little Hawkeye Conference year in and year out is one of the toughest in the state. The L-H-C has had four-A teams in the past. When Boone was a member the Toreadors were a small 4A school, and until this season Oskaloosa had been a small 4A as well. Some of the possible postseason opponents for the Panthers next season couple be Newton, Indianola, and North and Hoover out of Des Moines as they are some of the smallest 4A schools in the state.
