With last night’s Class 2A Quarterfinals halving the number of teams whose seasons are still alive down to just four, the Pella Christian football team finds itself a bit closer to another opportunity to enjoy the game they love at its highest level.

“We typically take a trip up to the State Championship game at the [UNI] Dome, and watch the game as a group,” says Eagles’ head coach Rich Kacmarynski. “That’ll be another opportunity to be together.”

The 2011 Pella Christian football team featured 17 senior members and finished the season with a 7-3 overall record.
