Local Netters Named to All-LHC Volleyball Teams

Three First Team selections from Pella Christian High School highlight a number of local volleyball players named to All-Little Hawkeye Conference Teams.

Outside hitter Jenna Horstman, middle hitter Jasmin Schelhaas, and setter Sarah Faber each earned First Team nods, tying Oskaloosa for the most nominations to the First Team. Knoxville outside hitter Jessica Jones joins the trio of Lady Eagles on the First Team.

Second Team All-Conference honors went to Pella’s Katie Sunderman, Knoxville’s Emily Lee and Chambray Daugherty, and Shelby Nikkel and Tayler Stursma of Pella Christian.

A number of local netters also garnered Honorable Mention All-Little Hawkeye Conference honors, including Meredith Cunningham and Erica Fee of Knoxville; Kim Korver and Maddy Scholten of Pella; and Lauren Jungling and Lynelle DeBruin from Pella Christian.
