The PCM girls basketball team won its second thriller in as many nights, as the Mustangs beat Nevada last night 54-50 in overtime. PCM had to spend the second quarter clawing back into the game, after trailing at the end of the first quarter 16-3.

Abbi Gilson led the balanced attack with 15 points, while Courtney VanHouweling had 14 and Kelsey Townsend contributed 13 points.

PCM has raced out to a 2-0 start and is now 1-0 in the Heart of Iowa Conference. The Mustangs are off until next Tuesday when they host Gilbert.
