Two Pella High School publications have been named the best in the state. Pella won in both the newspaper and yearbook categories at the Iowa High School Press Association Fall Conference last week. The Pelladium swept its class in writing, photography and graphics. The yearbook staff won its class, while the Pelladium website won third place. In on-the-spot contests, Jack Parisee and Mark Dykstra placed first and third in photography while Blake Lanser was second in yearbook design.
