Sinterklaas came to Pella on this weekend. The 35th annual Sinterklaas parade was cancelled due to the showers we experienced Saturday morning, but the indoor events went on as planned. Ticket holders had Breakfast with Sinterklaas and afterwards went to the Pella Opera House for a party where Sinterklaas recognised the good deeds of children.According to Pella Historical Village Director Patsy Sadler this was the biggest turnout ever for the Breakfast and Operahouse Sinterklaas events, with 98 adults and 68 kids in attendance.
