[simage=4684,200,y,left] Closing arguments will be heard on Monday in the case against Bussey man Gregory Griffith. Griffith is charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine. Griffith took the stand in his own defense Friday, telling the courtroom he had cleaned up since his previous drug conviction, and he had nothing to do with the items found in the vehicle he was riding in last year. Sheriff’s Deputies found items in the vehicle commonly used together to make meth. Three others in the vehicle have pled guilty to lesser charges. If convicted, Griffith faces up to 25 years in prison.
