Knoxville Girls’ Basketball coach Jim Uitermarkt and the basketball program are gearing back up for Coaches vs Cancer once again. Already over 60 items have been donated to the silent auction for the games, which occur January 21 against Chariton. Pizza Hut in Knoxville is already starting to help out. Beginning today, $1 from each evening buffet sold will go toward Coaches vs Cancer. Uitermarkt says he’s very grateful and appreciative of the support the community has given. The Big Red Radio will be at Pizza Hut from 4pm to 7pm tonight to help kick off the Pizza Hut event.
