DNR Conservation Officer Ken Kenyon tells KNIA/KRLS News that the DNR is following up on an incident where someone dumped a number of deer carcasses just off of Old Highway 92 near Flagler. Kenyon notes that there are a number of different ways to dispose of deer carcasses appropriately. He says one way is to just put it with your regular garbage. The deer will be then be picked up with the trash. He also says getting permission from a farmer to dump the carcass someplace on their land would a good option. Both options, he says, are more appropriate, and irresponsible dumping makes all hunters look bad.
