[simage=4684,200,y,left] Gregory Griffith will be retried after his trial has ended with a hung jury. Griffith had been charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, which would carry a sentence of up to 25 years in prison. Since a verdict was not reached, the Marion County Attorney’s Office has an option to retry Griffith. Marion County Attorney Ed Bull says that process is already underway, and a pre-trial conference has been set for January 6th.

Griffith was arrested last year after the vehicle he was in was pulled over and found to have materials commonly used together to make meth. Three others in the vehicle at that time have since pled guilty to a lesser conspiracy charge.
