Members of the Iowa National Guard’s 2654th Maintenance Company in Knoxville will help rededicate a Fairfield facility. The Guard is hosting a rededication ceremony for Field Maintenance Shop #12. The facility was renovated as part of a $1.9 million project. New maintenance bays were added. Work was also done on the facility’s heating system, and the facility now has drive through capabilities. Knoxville guard members currently use the facility, as do the 134th Medical Company of Washington and the 34th Army Band of Fairfield. The dedication ceremony is on Friday at 10am.
