A Knoxville woman is in Marion County Jail on $50,000 cash bond after being arrested yesterday and charged with possession and delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance. 47-year-old LeeAnne Meriweather is accused of selling three 30mg pills of oxycodone to an undercover Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force agent in May. She also allegedly sold seven 30mg pills of oxycodone to an undercover agent in June. Meriweather has a preliminary hearing set for January 6th. If convicted on both counts, she faces up to 20 years in prison.
