A tough week for the Pleasantville girls basketball team is only half done, as the Trojans are now preparing for a trip to No. 2-ranked Bedford tomorrow night.

“That’s a two-hour and twenty-minute bus ride. We’re going to have to play a lot better than we’ve been playing,” said Pleasantville head coach Trevor Miller.

“Coach Weed has those girls playing really well. They’re basically all back from their State [Tournament] team a year ago, and doing a lot of good things. They pressure, and they run up and down the floor, so we’re going to have to come up and be ready to play.”

The Pleasantville girls are 1-6 overall, and have dropped their past two Pride of Iowa Conference games, after earning their first win over a week ago against Wayne.
