The Pella Christian boys basketball team turned a strong first half performance into their second straight victory, winning at Washington 68-65 Saturday. The Eagles scored 41 points in the first 16 minutes of the game, leading the Demons by 10 at the intermission.

Four players scored in double figures for Pella Christian, highlighted by Dan Hessing’s 22-point effort. The win improves Pella Christian’s record to 2-1 overall. They’ll have a few very important days of practice ahead of them now, as the Eagles take on No. 1-ranked PCM on Thursday.
