Republican Mahaska County Supervisor Ken Rozenboom declared his candidacy for the Iowa Senate in District 40, a new district drawn as a result of the 2010 census. District 40 includes all of Mahaska, Monroe, and Appanoose counties, western Wapello, and Lake Prairie Township in Marion County, including the city of Pella. Rozenboom is a graduate of Pella Christian.
