A victory over Martensdale-St. Mary’s earlier in the week has sent the Pella Christian girls basketball team into the holiday break with a nice win-streak in tow.  

The Lady Eagles have won five straight games since dropping the season-opener, and head coach Kevin Van Maanen said he was particularly pleased with the progress his team made on both offense and defense in this week’s win over the Blue Devils.  

The Pella Christian girls will have a few days away from the court to enjoy the Christmas holiday with their families, before returning to practice to gear up for home games against Newton and Chariton on January 6th and 7th.
