Winter Break College Finance Advice

High schools in the area are closing in on the holiday break. With the new year approaching, one of the items that high school seniors are going to be working on soon is the filing of Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA forms in preparation for college. Wayne Dille, Director of Financial Aid at Central College told KNIA/KRLS News that some parents are hesitant to apply for Federal school loan programs via the FAFSA form, because they think they won’t qualify. Dille said that those doubts are a common misconception, and that it can’t hurt to file the forms.
