Oskaloosa turned a close game to a lopsided game in the fourth quarter last night as the Indians used an 18-1 fourth quarter to defeat Knoxville 53-34 in girls basketball. Neither team had a lead by more than seven points through the first three quarters, and Knoxville was also taking care of the ball, but in the final eight minutes…the Panthers could not hit a shot and committed five of their 13 turnovers. Coach Jim Utiermarkt said the girls played well in the first three quarters. Hanna Rosenkranz led Knoxville with 16 points. The Panthers fall to 1-9 on the season and 0-4 in Little Hawkeye Conference play, they will travel to Newton on Tuesday.
