StartUpIowa is holding entrepreneurial fairs statewide less then a week from now, and one of them will be in Marion County. Central College will be hosting the local StartUpIowa Fair to showcase the innovations of entrepreneurs both here in Pella, and in surrounding communities. Wade Steenhoek, Director of the Martin Heerema Entrepreneurship Program at Central College tells KNIA/KRLS news that the school is excited to showcase the works of locals, and that he hopes that these fairs will help spread the word of innovation, and that over 30 local startups will be there. The StartUpIowa sponsored fair will be in the Graham Conference Center on Tuesday January 31st from 3 until 6 PM.
