Recently rehired Knoxville Baseball Coach Joel Johnson will be inducted in the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame on January 21st in Cedar Rapids. Johnson spent 25 seasons at Knoxville and amassed nearly all of his 525 career wins. He had 13 seasons of 20 wins or more, 19 winning seasons, seven conference titles, six state tournament appearances and a state championship in 2002. In addition he produced 12 all-state players, five players that were selected to play in the all-star series, and two players drafted in the M-L-B Draft. Johnson was rehired as Knoxville’s Baseball coach in November.
