What seems to be a prevailing script for the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad, the Panthers once again fell in a close contest. This time it was against Albia who survived a fourth quarter comeback to hang on 50-47. The Panthers wanted to shoot better than they did on Saturday…and did canning five three point shots in the first quarter…three by Garritt. However, Albia’s Tanner Kellogg had the game of his life scoring a game high 33 points. Knoxville Coach Jeff Larson said his team played well defensively, they just did not plan for Kellogg to go off like he did. Knoxville’s Davis had a team high 22 points in the loss. Knoxville is now 1-14 on the season and will host Little Hawkeye Conference leader Grinnell this Friday.
