A 41-year-old Knoxville man was arrested last week after being charged with domestic abuse assault. Donald Eugene Clinkenbeard is currently in Marion County Jail on $10,000 cash bond. Clinkenbeard allegedly shoved the victim to the ground, kicking the victim in the chest. He has been convicted of domestic abuse assault seven times in the past. Those multiple convictions cause this charge to be considered to be a class “D” felony. Clinkenbeard will appear in Marion County District Court on February 3rd for an initial hearing.
