Following a pair of non-conference setbacks to Southeast Warren over the weekend, the Melcher-Dallas girls and boys basketball teams try and notch a pair of Bluegrass Conference wins tonight against Murray. The Saints girls are 5-4 against league opponents, and are fired up to prove they are a better squad than the team Murray cruised past in the Bluegrass Conference tournament. The boys’ game, meanwhile, will be a tricky one. A young Melcher-Dallas team has faced plenty of struggles this season, and it won’t get any easier against a Mustangs team that hasn’t lost since the first game of the season.
