While the boys got their conference tournament started last night, the girls basketball teams in the Bluegrass Conference get the first round of their games rolling tonight. The Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars teams each get to host for the tournament opener, as the Saints take on Moravia and the Sabers face Lamoni. The Saints are 6-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play heading into their contest against the Mohawks. In the lower half of the bracket, the Sabers are 10-4 overall and 5-1 against league opponents, entering tonight’s match-up with the Warriors. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:45 p.m. tonight, again, with Melcher-Dallas on its home floor against Moravia and Twin Cedars hosting Lamoni in Bussey.
