Offensive Diversity Makes Pella Christian Girls a Tough Opponent

Though Jasmin Schelhaas again led the Pella Christian girls basketball team in scoring in their win over Oskaloosa on Tuesday, the 13 points poured in by fellow guard Christina Nolte presented another case for the offensive diversity of the Lady Eagles.

The team has had nine players on the roster that have accumulated 22 total points or more this season, and have had four different players lead the team in scoring, including Paige Engbers, Tayler Stursma and Cali Vink. The Pella Christian girls are 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, entering tomorrow night’s game at Pella High.
