At approximately 5:30 Tuesday morning there was a one vehicle accident on T-17 south of Pella. A small pickup truck slid into a light pole. Pella Fire, Ambulance and Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. One person was transported to Pella Regional Hospital. The accident was one of may traffic related issues due to the snowy conditions in the Marion County area. Roads were completely snow covered in areas, and some people had problems with stuck cars and minor accidents. County plows will be out again Wednesday morning, to clear roads of blown snow and drifts, before the morning commute. KNIA/KRLS will keep you informed of any weather related delays and closures.
