The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session yesterday morning. They discussed the legality of putting a fence around a Pioneer Cemetery near Attica. The purpose would be to keep livestock off of those grounds. The Supervisors decided to direct the Pioneer Cemetery Commission to discuss the matter privately with the landowner and come to a decision that way.

The Supervisors also discussed in a special session later yesterday the need to create a commission to look at the long-term needs of county departments and start planning accordingly.
