It appears an electrical issue caused a semi tractor fire east of Knoxville Tuesday morning. The Knoxville Rural Fire Department was called out to Ben Shinn’s Trucking at about 1:30 Tuesday morning at a report of a flames emitting out of a semi that was adjacent to a building and other trucks. Knoxville Rural Fire Chief Kenny Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News firefighters were able to keep the truck, which was already non-functional, from damaging the building. One other truck did receive some minor scorching damage. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene. No one was injured in the blaze.
