Republican Iowa Senate candidate Stephanie Jones will be the guest during Knoxville Mayor Don Zoutte’s monthly Coffee with the Mayor today. Jones, from Knoxville, says that she cares deeply about public safety. In 2010, Jones helped incorporate a child abuse prevention organization in the state. She says she’d also focus on lowering commercial property taxes, keeping a tight budget, and reforming education. Mayor Zoutte will also be discussing city issues. Coffee with the Mayor will start at 4pm today at Rick’s Sports Diner. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
