The Knoxville School Board is considering changing the administrative structure at Knoxville High School. With Assistant Principal Joe Ferguson retiring at the end of this school year, Principal Kevin Crawford has asked the Board to consider moving to a Dean of Students system. There would be three Deans of Students at the high school. Each student would have the same Dean for all four years while in school. The Deans would be responsible for counseling and discipline of their students. Crawford told the board that the two counselors would be Deans, and Ferguson’s replacement would be the third.
