Knoxville Hospital & Clinics generates 254 jobs and creates a $16.7 million impact on the local economy. That’s according to a new study by the Iowa Hospital Association. According to that study, employees at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics spend around $3.6 million on retail sales, generating around $219,000 in sales tax revenue that goes to school, city, and county budgets. CEO Kevin Kincaid says that their leaders and staff are invested in the economic future of the Knoxville community. He adds that having accessible healthcare is crucial to economic growth; delivering that healthcare improves the area’s quality of life.
