Pella Christian is back on its home court tonight for a pair of varsity basketball games against Oskaloosa. The Indians seem to always present a good match-up against their nearby rivals, and both games were highly competitive earlier in the season when the two teams met in Oskaloosa.

Lady Eagles’ head coach Kevin Van Maanen says it’s important for his team to continue to work the ball around well on offense and play stout half-court defense against Oskaloosa’s skilled inside-outside combination of Kenzie Gott and Kena Veldhuizen.

In the nightcap, the Eagles’ are playing confident basketball after road victories at Gilbert and Newton, but head coach Larry Hessing expects the Indians to be tough to beat a second time around.

You can hear live coverage of tonight’s games broadcast live on 92.1 fm KRLS with Jamie Brockman providing the play-by-play; starting at 6:00 p.m. at Pella Christian High School
