[simage=7051,max,n,center,]Pella is closing in on finishing its 2012/2013 budget. The proposed budget is approximately 39 million dollars in size. Pella City Administrator Mike Nardini tells KNIA/KRLS News that a lot of work has gone into the various aspects of the budget. He says the main reason Pella’s budget is so large is because of the city utilities. Nardini says in particular the Municipal Electric Utility has a lot happening this year. He says that the Southeast Switching Station will be coming online soon, and the department is working on several other projects related to the city’s switch to Missouri River Energy Services.
