The Pella City Council met in Special Session last night. The city council voted to approve a show of support for the Overland Property group’s Section 42 housing development proposal for the state of Iowa. The project proposal has been revised since the first time it was presented to the council, and would now be a smaller, 16 unit development. The Pella City Council also voted to approve the changes to the local purchasing policy for the city. After the special session the city council heard from RDG Planning and Design on proposals for a new Wayfinding Sign system in the city. The council asked that the Wayfinding project continue to be developed.
