A Pella High student has been selected to take part in this years State Poetry Out Loud competitions. Seventeen students from across the state will travel to Des Moines to compete for the title, 200 dollars, and a trip to the National Poetry Out Loud Competition. John Rhys Sutija from Pella will read selections from Lewis Carrol, Lord Byron, and Percy Bysshe Shelley. The state competitions are next Saturday, March 3rd.
