The Pella Opera House is hosting a benefit for Marion County Habitat for Humanity next week. The Home Sweet Home Dessert Theatre will feature several local performers for an evening of music and tasty treats. Lisa Houser, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Marion County tells KNIA/KRLS News that the dessert element is a new twist to the fundraiser, and they are looking forward to all the items that Central College will be catering for the event. Tickets to the event can be reserved at the Pella Opera House at the cost of a donation to Habitat. The event is next Friday, February 24th at 7:00 PM.
