One week ago, Pella teenager Blake Van Vark was killed in a car accident on Vermeer road in the icy conditions. The day before he died, Blake had committed to join the “Baja 101” mission with the Third Reformed Church, to travel to La Mision, Mexico and help build a home. In his memory, the Pella Pizza Ranch is partnering with Third Reformed Church for a fund raising event. This Saturday, all profits from sales at the Pella Pizza Ranch, all the employees wages, and tips raised by Blake’s Youth Group will be donated to the Baja 101 Mission.
