It is a bright future for the Knoxville Wrestling Squad after the panthers went 15-and-six in dual meets this winter and sent three grapplers to the state meet. Coach Ron Peterson says the amount of wrestlers that had 20 or more wins this season should make for a strong year next year. He adds the seniors like Lane Colwell and Jay Fresh who both went to state will be missed, however he thinks there are guys who step into those weight classes. Fresh was the only wrestler to place as he finished in eighth in 113 pound weight class in Class three-A. The third wrestler to make state was Tyler Chatterton, and he is a sophomore.
