The prosecution has called several witnesses forward in order to prove a murder-for-hire scheme during the trial of Terry Cobbins, Jr. Among those called to the witness stand have been Cobbins’ neighbor, babysitter, and several co-workers. A state criminologist, medical examiner, and the sister of the victim have also been called to testify as the prosecution attempts to prove Cobbins killed Theresa Miller in January 2011. The prosecution says Cobbins was part of a murder-for-hire scheme that was organized by Miller’s husband, Michael Miller. He is scheduled to go on trial next month for first degree murder as well.
