The Marion County Board of Supervisors had discussions on a few budget issues during their regular meeting this morning. The Supervisors approved continuing their funding of Crisis Intervention Services at $4000 per year. They also discussed funding for the public libraries in the county and will make their final decision on how much that will be at a later date. The Supervisors also discussed installing automatic alarm systems and panic buttons in a variety of county-owned buildings, including the Public Health Building. Currently that system is set up only in the Courthouse.
