The Twin Cedars boys basketball team found itself in an early hole that they were never able to climb out of Thursday night, as their season ended with a 77-43 loss to Moulton-Udell in the Class 1A Quarterfinals. The Sabers were down 25-6 after the opening eight minutes, and faced a 40-15 deficit by halftime. From there, Moulton-Udell continued to win the quarterly scoring battle to pull away with the win. The Twin Cedars’ offense struggled to find its rhythm, as Derek Springer and Trent Baccus led the team with 10 points apiece. The loss leaves the Sabers at 11-13 to finish the season.
