It’s always a big night of basketball when Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars mix it up on the hardwood, and when the Sabers host the Saints this coming Tuesday, the games will be a little bigger than normal. That’s because the two schools are joining up this year in the annual “Coaches vs Cancer” games to help raise awareness and money for cancer research.

Twin Cedars Athletic Director Justin Nolte says the night will include a soup and chili supper, t-shirt sales, silent auction, and other fundraisers to help collect money that will go toward finding a cure for a disease that affects so many people’s lives. The activities will begin around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday night, with the tip-off of the basketball games set for 6:15 p.m. at Twin Cedars High School.
