A Mario Andretti collection is currently being featured at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. Director Bob Baker says that the car they have on display is the first open-wheel car that Andretti ever drove. It’s a three-quarters midget with a motorcycle engine in it.

He also says that they were fortunate enough last week to be loaned a Mario Andretti driving uniform. That’s been put in Plexiglas next to the car. Baker adds that there is a board detailing the history of the car displayed, as well as a video about Andretti that runs with the display.
