The Pella Kiwanis Club, with the Community First Credit union held the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Pella this morning. at 10:30, and again at 10:40 children scrambled to collect as many eggs and other pieces of candy that they could. Three girls Thea, Marissa, and Lily, told KNIA/KRLS News that they’re sad that this will be the last Easter Egg hunt for them as they are getting too old. It’s been a tradition for the girls like with many other children. Pella Kiwanis President Darrell Veenstra told KNIA/KRLS that the event had just under 1900 candies for the children to collect.
