[simage=7308,max,n,center,]This weekend Lake Red Rock will host a avian themed event. The Bird Banding Experience will allow people the opportunity to get an up close look at bird species. Bird banding is the process of capturing, tagging and then releasing birds so that they can be tracked if they are ever recaptured. Bird watcher and licensed bird bander Nelson Hoskins will lead the event, showing attendees over the three hours what the process is like. The event requires no registration, is free to attend and is Saturday from 7:00 to 10:00 AM.
